Commemorating such an important milestone, Stannary Brass Band, Tavistock town councillors, including mayor Robin Pike, and the Rev. Michael Brierley were among those joining the celebrations in Pontivy.
Everyone agreed the trip to Pontivy was wonderful - the hospitality was amazing, with terrific weather and the whole event was just such a great sense of occasion, which was done in the typical French style.
