Rehearsals

PLEASE NOTE
From September 2008 rehearsals will no longer be held on Sunday afternoons.
Instead they will take place at Mount House School, Tavistock, from 6.00pm to 7.15pm on Wednesday evenings.
Admission to the Stannary Youth Band is through an informal audition. If you are under 19 years old and would like to join please contact John Northey on 01822 612675 for more information.
Stannary Youth Band would be particularly pleased to hear from any young baritone, tuba and trombone players. Playing in the band will give you the opportunity to make new friends, to have fun, to play music of all varieties and to learn how a brass band works "as a team".
Some players also travel to the Devon Youth Brass Band based in Exeter. Stannary Brass Band supports and encourages further learning.
